Respect In Trades was established in 2024 to reduce the high level of bullying and harassment among Australian trade workers. It provides bullying and harassment prevention through on-site education sessions.

 

Respect In Trades was established in response to first-hand experience of disrespect and bullying to our Founder Sarah Woods and over time multiple stories evolved from other workers experiencing the same thing.

 

The Respect program is based on the simple idea to help change the culture. If the trades industries in Australia are to improve the culture, then everyone in the industry must play their part.

 

Working for the trades industries in general, Respect In Trades is independent of employers and unions and never works directly for an employer. Programs are delivered across the industry regardless of employer or union affiliation.
